Africa’s leading digital logistics and supply chain platform, Kobo360 has partnered with Decagon Institute; an elite software engineering school to train and equip young talents in Enugu State, Nigeria with in-demand tech skills that are highly required in today’s job market.
The objective of this initiative is to ensure that more young talents are mentored at an early stage by professionals. This will aid faster career advancement and help young talents to learn, grow and compete with advanced skills while Nigeria’s tech capabilities scales at large.
This partnership was launched with its first cohort, and has successfully selected individuals who are interested in building careers as software developers, to partake in the program with internship & full-time opportunities. The selected engineers are expected to undergo rigorous practical training and assessments to become expert Back-end, Front-end and Mobile developers.
The next cohort of engineers is expected to begin with a selection process scheduled by May 2022, as Kobo360 hopes to continue growing tech talents across the African continent.
